    The Business Continuity department is chartered with providing business continuity capability in the event of a disaster or other emergency which would preclude normal operations at one of the company's offices. The group is responsible for the development of, and compliance with, corporate guidelines for the organizations business continuity planning program. These responsibilities encompass all operational and non-operational entities of the organization. The team is to ensure that in the event of a business interruption, critical business operations has appropriately planned, documented and tested recovery plans and strategy.  The goal is to be able to continue delivering critical services to our customers by quickly resuming mission-critical business processes when confronted with adverse events, such as:  worksite disruptions, technology failures, natural disasters, human error, acts of terrorism and security incidents.

    The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Continuity planning.  Be experienced in performing client interviews for the completion of the Business Impact Analysis, facilitating recovery strategy discussions, implementing recovery/resumption plans, creating test/exercise plans and understanding incident management procedures. 

    In addition, the candidate should have strong knowledge of technology platforms and capabilities, and be able to work closely with business operations, their liaisons, and associated technology teams.  Participation and assistance with medium to large scale disaster recovery tests is also required.

    What's the role?

    Oversee all ongoing activities related to the definition, development, coordination, testing and maintenance of the company’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) by providing BCP consulting services to project teams and operating units.  Review and assess company business continuity plans to ensure alignment with recovery requirements.  Determine the impact on all company operations and recommends appropriate company response to key stakeholders and decision makers.  Research BCP issues.  Lead the identification and development of BCP procedures and project recommendations.

More BCP and business facing, supporting end users, meeting with business leaders, able to do table top exercises and so forth. SKILLS: knowledge in Business Continuity and disaster recovery disciplines. Ability to facilitate meetings w/business partners and lead business continuity table top exercises and BIA. GOOD personality and can execute on projects.

    Accountable for the development and maintenance of business continuity/disaster recovery plans, facilitation of regularly scheduled recovery exercises, and leadership of potential recovery events for the Information Technology (IT) organization and all platforms supported by the IT infrastructure.

    SKILLS: knowledge in Business continuity and disaster recovery disciplines. Ability to facilitate meetings w/business partners and lead business continuity table top exercises.
